Quote you live by / fave quote: "If it's free-it's for me"
Coach Marmas said this when asked about Maddison,
"As one of the team captains Maddison Fitzpatrick has shown to be a consistent leader on the team. Her role as a defender as well as a captain has been instrumental in stopping other teams from scoring a lot of goals against us this season. Maddison recently moved up from defense to become a striker for the team and scored her first goal in her high school soccer career. Whether she is playing as a defender or as a striker for the team, she is constantly giving everything she has, to help the team both on and off the pitch."
After speaking with Maddison, I definitely see the leadership mixed with a laid-back comical personality. She is extremely easy to talk to and I can totally see her thriving in college!
The EWG Lady Knight Soccer team has MADE THE PLAY-OFFS! They have a 1st round bye. Depending on the outcomes of the games today they may have a play-off game on Wednesday. The game will be a home game so please come cheer on Maddison and the rest of our talented ladies!!!

Quote you live by: " If your not first- your last"
When I first read a player of the week article from another school and wanted our school to recognize our athletes, one of the very first families I thought of was the Coutchers'. From his oldest brother Noah, next being Joseph and Thomas being the youngest- they are a true "sports family". Not only does Thomas' Dad help coach the EWG Knights football team, but his Mom and his loving Grandparents attend as well! I don't think I have ever been to a game and not seen the whole family cheering the boys on!
Just like his brothers before him, Thomas demonstrates incredible poise, leadership and morality on and off the field. Thomas is very humble and can even be perceived as shy sometimes. However I believe Thomas may not say a lot but his football skills on the field speak volumes! He is an incredible athlete and very fast and agile. If you have not seen #32 play - I suggest you catch a game!
Congrats Thomas on Player of the Week for EWG! We are grateful that you still have another season here at EWG! Enjoy the rest of your Junior year and thank you for always being such a role model!
The EWG Knights have a game this Friday vs Scituate and also are hosting Narragansett for the Thanksgiving Day Game - Please come and support and cheer them on!!
